Winter in Glencoe – A peaceful afternoon at the picturesque Glencoe Lochan with a brief respite in the otherwise inclement conditions at that time, with the superbly still water giving near-perfect reflections of the Pap of Glencoe and trees all around the lochan.
Amazingly captured at the end of October and imaged in infrared, making the foliage glow iridescent all around the lochan; it does look like a heavy frost has settled on the trees with a light dusting of snow on the Pap. Although taken in autumn it does give the illusion of winter in Glencoe.
