Downlight

Downlight

Downlight - Streamers of light spilling through a gap in the clouds perfectly silhouette a straight row of trees at the foot of Pendle Hill on an otherwise overcast morning.

Archive raiding here - an unused and previously unprocessed image from my 365 project from several years ago.

It was a memorable few moments that I managed to capture and I recall it well. Seeing the gap in the clouds opening up a couple of miles away, I hoped that I get to the right vantage point in time for the light to hit the trees. I was rewarded with a handful of frames as the light graced the trees for a fleeting few moments as it moved across the landscape.
