Awe and wonder
Awe and wonder – Golden hour at the truly stunning and inspirational setting of Kilchurn Castle on Loch Awe, lit by the day's dawn light as it burns off the early mist streaming down the loch. Hardly any wonder that I'm drawn to this location having experienced several magical dawns here, waiting patiently lochside, totally absorbed by the scene unfolding before me.
Witnessing first light and dawn breaking at this quintessentially Scottish location is a genuinely captivating and enchanting experience; one cannot fail to be moved at nature's raw beauty or to wonder what scene will present, as every day's conditions seem so unique here.
Captured on the first of two special mornings towards the end of last year, it is for moments like this I spend the whole year yearning for; anticipation building as visits to such special locations draw near. I am genuinely moved and touched by such moments, increasingly fuelling my drive and desire to capture such magical, moving and ethereal experiences.
