Kinglet in the Garden
These tiny birds are migrating southward and have been giving me some nice opportunities to photograph them.
This one was feeding on bugs among the hostas leaves that have turned gold and have bent over sideways to the ground. The bird is perched on one of those lateral stems.
I sat for an hour on the ground capturing them as they flitted about. What a joy to get up close and personal with these little gems!
