'No furniture so charming as books'

~Sydney Smith

A charming library in Rome. With charming furnitures indeed, but what it is made for are books, and without them those little green lamps and chairs and wooden table, won't have their unique 'raison d'etre' and charms (View on Black).

I love libraries.

Especially the old ones.

Filled up to the ceiling with old books and journals.

Hidding a mysterious amounth of human wiseness.

A huge storage place of human reflection.

Quite places where the deep, profound thought has space to grow,

where it can be freed, or liberated.

Enjoy your lecture!
