Hurtigruten, The Coastal Steamer
The Norwegian Broadcasting Company (NRK) are at the moment doing the longest LIVE televison broadcast ever (5 days continiously), covering the trip from Bergen to Kirkenes with Hurtigruten, along the Norwegian coast.
This is today (19th June 2011) at about 11:00 local time, shot when the ship is a bit south of Bodø.
Two traditional Nordlands boats in the foreground.
Sorry for the resolution, this is a shot of my 32" Philips TV screen, fed by HDMI cable from a MacMini, that gets video feed over wireless broadband connection to the net.
Outside here (Leiden) its raining cats and dogs. I seem to be in the wrong place.
