Project Cranes

Cranes fascinate me. When I’m near one and have to look up at the sky to take it all in or when I look at them from a distance towering over other structures, they make me awe. They are like big creatures, like urban dinosaurs. They are creative, they build. They are moving, but they are unshakable. Outside of the human context, they are meaningless, but to us they are city builders, they shape the environment of many. And like I see them in this abstract way compared to total reality, so do I present them in an abstract way with these photographs.
The project also goes by the name paint a crane, but I use the name Cranes more often for short.
Project Cranes began in 2017 and is still ongoing.
