On this ,Monday Jan 13 2020 morning we see Boom Police Chief Stanley Chavez and City manager Alvin Alten looking at some vehicles /items stored at one of hangers at Boom airfield that might go up for auction soon .
The Airfield was built during WW2 and was abandoned in the 1970s ,it was sold to Boom in 1990s Today Boom uses as a place for the town's storage and trash transfer station.
Boom is in Western Part of Apache County NM in the Terreno llano Seco basin ( TLS basin ) and Terreno llano Seco means dry flat land in Spanish
