TWO OR MORE chairs and ONE desk

Having an inspiring workplace will help you stay focused. Nothing is more distracting than a messy office, so Keep It Neat! It also hurts your productivity, since you waste time digging through stacks of junk to find that contract or magazine you need. Nip it in the bud by doing a quick neatening of your workspace every day before you leave work.

I saw a tweet from someone that said, “By the time you turn 30, you should have at least one piece of original Art in your home.” I don’t know if that’s a hard and fast rule, but at some point, you’ll want to start using Art to enhance your personal (work)space. Over the years I've amassed a small collection of original Art, all made by close friends. Having any unique art in your home office really does add a new aura to it, this is a place where YOU work. My designer friend Huib van Wijk helped me do the initial decorating, we went for a Zen look. I have a relaxing, clean place to work. I think that a room with a view is very important for fostering a calm yet creative atmosphere too. I love to stock my shelves. Music - I prefer classical - set the stage for a productive day. My vintage BeoSound Century is playing all the time.

Meetings are necessary to coordinate individual efforts, collaborate on joint projects, support for ideas, sell ideas, solve problems collectively, and make consensus-based decisions. Essentially, meetings are a gathering of TWO OR MORE persons to collectively accomplish what ONE person cannot.
