Couple of weeks ago I've received my first APO refractor William Optics GT81. And of course I had overcast skies first week. The last few days I managed to gather some frames to test the scope and also experimented with combining full spectrum data with Hydrogen Alpha. Here is the result - I hope you like it...
Few words about the scope: Excellent color correction - practically zero color fringe, sharp with very tight stars. It is heavy for its size with very good hybrid rake and pinion focuser. This focuser exhibits very little focus shift with my combined load, which is shy from 2kg - EOS 1100D + Peltier cooled enclosure.
I'm using Orion flattener with this scope. It works well, but it is not exact match. I might get WO flattener-reducer later on...
