Any Old Iron
The #FlickrFriday #HandTools challenge
A pair of traditional irons, part of my dear wife's impressive collection of junk which mysteriously tend to feature in FlickrFridays.
There are two photos here, window lit, blended within Photoshop. Each is focused on the detail of one of the irons. One formed the background, the other was overlayed and erased as necessary to get a single image of both irons in focus to sidestep that pesky depth of focus thingy. A cluttered background was erased with just some of the wooden tabletop and reflection retained to prevent them apparently floating in mid air. Finally, to reflect the antique nature of the image, it was turned to monochrome
