Bridegwater canal, Manchester

A view under the cast-iron ribbed arches of one of Manchester's wonderful Victorian railway bridges at the point in Castlefield where the railway viaduct crosses the Bridgewater Canal.

The bridge spans 32 metres across the canal and dates from 1849.
