Bali bombers await execution date

"The bombers ... said that according to Islamic law beheading would be the right method of execution" (Aljazeera, 24 Oct 2008)

 

To advocate or apply capital punishment is more degrading to humankind than even the most horrific of criminal acts. All Australians, no matter how tragically effected, should call for abolition of capital punishment worldwide.
