Crotalaria Pod Borer: Argina astrea
With the sunlight passing through and illuminating the wings the colour of this moth has to be saffron, which is very fitting for a moth sighted in India. As the name suggests the larvae feed on rattlepods like the one here whose saffron and yellow flowers form the pod in which the seeds rattle.
A species found wherever Crolataria species grow which extends from Eastern Africa to India and Indo-Australia.
