Berlin's new federal district during a hot summer day. The absebce of human beings reminds me of a De Chirico's paintings.
This building is called "Marie Elisabeth Lüders Haus" and houses both the library and the research & reference service of the Bundestag. It was designed by Stephan Braunfels and forms the new federal distric of Berlin along with the Paul-Löbe-Haus, the Chancellery and the redevelopment of the Reichstag by Norman Foster.
