Grow your own shitake mushrooms #2

The first step is to place the "shitake log" i some sort of dish and keep it continuously wet. The log is kept in the fridge until the small mushroom buds begin to break through the surface.

 

It has been in there for about a week now and absolutel nothing has happened.
