Hydrocephalus
Dry-Dock "Jan Blanken"
This shot is taken in "De Vesting". This is a particular area in "Hellevoetsluis" the city where i live in.
The area is very populair (especially by German people) in the summer time the atmosphere is fantastic and having a nice cold beer on the terrace is so relax.
A lot of people dont't know that "De Vesting" was a very important fortress back in the 17th century because of his strategic situation it became the homeport for the Dutch war fleet. Also the Admirals Maarten Tromp, Michiel de Ruyter and Piet Heyn had their home base here and in 1688 during the Glorious Revolution William III of Orange's invasion fleet departed from this port.
And last but not least the "Spanish treasure fleet" a convoy system adopted by the Spanish Empire from 1566 to 1790 was managed to be captured by Piet Heyn back in 1628 and he brought the whole cargo safely to "De Vesting"
