Expansion
Expansion is a multi-media installation at the Políglota project room at Proyecto Ace, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Expansión consists of hybrid mythological creatures and military weaponry based on childhood memories and stories of growing up in the Wichita Mountains of Oklahoma next to Ft Sill military base. With the installation, I explore notions of good and evil, and cycles of death and life. My depictions of beasts, animals, and machines act as metaphors for human behavior and cycles of violence. In addition, collaborated with three young Argentine artists Federico Signorelli (video), Valeria Zamparolo (wall drawings), and Ivan Vianello (digital media) from Cordoba on the installation Expansión.
