Mary Spalding (nee Clapsaddle)
The 1949 letter attached to this photo states this as being Mary Spalding (nee Clapsaddle) in her teenage years.
I found her in Ancestry and she was born in 1815 which would make her 29 when this Daguerreotype of photograph was invented, and therefore past her teenage years.
I am therefore wondering if this is one of her daughters Romanda Mary Spalding (born 1848) or her sister Lucy Spalding (born 1845) as this photo could date from the 1860s when they would have been teenagers.
