Rabbit Poison Carts on an Australian Sheep Station - very early 1900s
Description on reverse: Rabbits were at one time unknown to Australia but were introduced there from England. The country was so agreeable to them that they increased at an enormous rate, finally assuming such proportions as to become a pest, and special steps had to be taken for their extermination. Most of the sheep stations have special men for poisoning rabbits and the picture shows two of these men with their carts previous to setting out for a day's work.
