Cry Wolf
Just returned from Brazil this afternoon. Lots of pictures on my hard disk from this tropical destination but didn't have the time to go through them yet. So here's one more shot of the Bavarian Forest that I really liked.
One of the most impressive things while visiting the Nature Reserve was that, since the wolves obviously live in an area surrounded by cultural influences, at noon, when the monthly testing of the emergency sirens was going on, the wolves howled along. I can tell you that the sound of a pack of 15, maybe 20 wolves, howling in unison, is something that goes straight down your spine.. Big time!
I've updated my site (see my profile) added a new thing, the 'wildlife diary'. (maybe you’ll have to hit F5 to refresh the site to see it). Of course it's new and there's only February up until now, but I intend to keep this updated, as there are so many pictures I take, in itself maybe not 'Flickr-worthy', but still telling stories about what I experience around me, at home, in my neighborhood, or while travelling, that I would love to share with you.
