Reverence

Ok, just one more of the fabulous trip to Zimanga in South Africa last september. It isn't often that I come home with so many pictures that I like, but this trip certainly delivered!

We had been in the Lagoon hide all afternoon. Photographed beautiful birds up close and playing elephants in the distance and had a great time. There's hardly a second going by there without something happening.

All of a sudden a small family of Warthogs came happily trotting in. They drank a little and started frolicking around, seemingly without a care in the world.

Although these African piggies usually don't make for the most adorable pictures my heart skipped a beat when mom and baby struck this lovely pose, all the more because the beautiful Lebombo mountain range made for such a stunning backdrop.

Have a lovely sunny weekend everyone!!
