Ntimba's cub

Mala Mala Game Reserve - Rattrays Camp - South Africa.

My heart skipped at least three beats when Shaun (Ranger at Rattrays Camp) announced that we would go and try to find female leopard Ntimba and her 6 months old cub. It took less than an hour, can you imagine! We found them, relaxed and well fed after the impala breakfast Ntimba had provided. The little one was playing; showing off, walking around with the Impala's leg and giving a convincing impression that he had personally 'taken care of the matter'... :-)

When I think back to that moment, I think I've enjoyed this wonderful and adorable scene só intensely, each second seemed to last three; it was like watching in slow-motion.

By the way; the Flickr staff has cleared the issue of what seemed to be wrong with my account. 2 weeks ago I downloaded the - in my opinion greatly improved - Uploadr. The strange thing was that afterwards views seemed to be decreasing with each post. In short; there was a glitch in the 3.0.2 version I downloaded: the pictures ended up 'hidden from public views'. So check the Uploadr version you have, make sure to download the latest version (3.0.5) and if you have a picture that seems to be moving less than average, have a look at 'flag your photo' (under Additional Information) to see if the 'hidden from public searches'setting is checked or not. Thanks Flickr staff!
