"The Spark" -- Documentation of Content Development by Hunter Kennedy Introduction
It begins with a spark. A flash of an idea.
And for me, that idea is often written down on a piece of paper.
It doesn't matter if it's a paragraph for a website, or in this case, a fully developed script for a two minute high fashion commercial.
When I asked Vancouver fashion designer Jason Matlo if "we had an unlimited budget for the commercial and promotional photo shoot for your Fall/Winter 2013/14 Collection, what would you envision?"
His face lit up, and he immediately answered what he had been holding back on for the previous 45 minutes: he wanted his collection to be shot in a butcher-shop warehouse.
It's amazing the answers you get when you just ask a client what they really want.
My answer? "I can do that for you."
