Matsumoto Castle
Taken in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, Japan.
It has long been a goal of mine of capturing this castle in winter. The classic shot is against a clear blue sky, snow everywhere with the moat frozen over. The weather didn't cooperate but the illuminated scene at night is worth the visit alone. The funny looking trails in the sky are ducks, you may or may not see them depending on your monitor's range.
