Mosquito - The Blood Sucker, The Times of India Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, Mumbai - India
Metamorphosis - As Urbanization takes off it Thrives on exploited blood. Mosquitos gets resettled in some other Land's but the instinct to exploited live on.
This metal - wire mosquito with a disproportionately long proboscis arrests your attention by sheer dint of scale.
As per the discussion with the sculptor Jayaram Gopale ... this two piece winged predator represents the exploitative steak in human nature, was hoisted on to a truck at his Kalwa studio and driven to Kala Ghoda.
This art took him 15 days for installation.
