ROBERT HUFFSTUTTER says: There is an interesting story about this soldier who was of Japanese ancestry but did not speak Japanese until he learned the language in the U.S.Army. He is Mustang Koji's uncle (deceased). _________________________________________ MIS Ft. Snelling, MN My uncle Paul Saburo Sakuma / MIS / Ft. Snelling 09-45 / ASN 36922630. While there is no date written on the photo, I can only assume this was in the March/April 1945 time frame as he graduated from the Military Intelligence Service Language School in Sept. 1945.

ROBERT HUFFSTUTTER says: There is a stride in his gait that speaks volumes of what must be the memories in his mind. This photograph speaks for many men. I can note the awe his attache has for this aged veteran. You captured much more than two men walking. Congratulations. Rob

ROBERT HUFFSTUTTER says: UNIQUE FEATURE. I admire almost all military personnel, especially pilots. Women in uniform have had a more difficult time, thus I know those who are in the service of their nation, especially in aviation, are at the top of their class. Congrats to these young women and here's hoping they are home and enjoying life either as a career officer or in their civilian lives.
