ROBERT HUFFSTUTTER says: Much of what I saw in the 1960s looked like this, so it is obvious that much of the older buildings were not bombed, thankfully.

ROBERT HUFFSTUTTER says: Great work. Sargent was an artist who had a most diversified portfolio when judging the wide variety of subject matter and composition. Your posting of Sargent's work most likely inspires viewer-artists to start to work on something new. Your postings often motivate me to start painting--something, just something to get in the right frame of mind. Now you know why I am not a professional painter--one cannot paint when only in the mood. Robert

ROBERT HUFFSTUTTER says: Hello, Chief..........this is one of the best. Don't believe I have ever seen both Enoshima and Mt Fuji in same frame or image. This is very rare--and very beautiful. This is the kind of photo some will wait years to get just right. You got it. Time, air, everything about it is perfect. I especially like the way the lights twinkle in the sea air. I am presuming this is sunset or twilight time?
