How many paperbacks have I collected over the past 50 years? At least a couple of thousand, probably more. For years, they have been where I put them, in my board and concrete library with the rest of my collected publications, magazines and out-of-date World Books. Actually, my economy library in my midwestern home is jam-packed full of interesting stuff, but it is time to get it on its way. No, not all of it--I'm saving some of my coolest paperbacks like the one above. It's the illustrations on so many of these books that catches my eye. Some I've read, some I have planned on reading. I guess I assumed I would be living to be one-hundred plus.
