MY AUNT DORT AND MY DOG, SPUTNIK, WINTER 1958

My dear aunt Dorothy and my dog, Sputnik in the winter of 1958, with DeSoto in background. Aunt Dorothy passed away in 1972, my dog was killed by a farmer in North Missouri (1963) who complained that Sput was chasing his cattle.

According to Uncle Jim, the farmer was later attacked by a pack of small, wild dogs while setting traps for Bobcats and had his trigger finger bitten off.

There's a new group, PICTORIAL ESSAYS ABOUT AGE, a public group for posting photos, art and essays or comments about age, especially the art of old age. While there are those, like myself, who will say that "...getting old sucks", others will play with words and try to fool themselves and others about the joy of growing old.

WHAT WAS IT THAT ROBERT FROST SAID ABOUT AGE?

WHY NOT JOIN THE GROUP NOW...
