YOKOHAMA SUNRISE 1963
Many years have passed since taking this photo with my petri camera. To say that much water has run beneath the bridge would be an understatement, but appropriate since there is both a bridge and water in this 1961 photo of a yokohama sunrise.
This was taken in Yamashita Park. I could see the Mitsubishi factories across the bay on the left side of this picture. This was taken after spending a night in a sake bar, but I was able to focus the camera okay. After shooting this photo, I headed up to the Peanut Club where there was rock and roll music playing all night on an elevator that began on level one and slowly ascended up to level 3 for all the customers to enjoy. Drinks were about 100 yen then.
