Red-winged Blackbird - Breeding Display

This female Red-winged Blackbird (Agelaius phoeniceus) had her tail raised in the air and was flapping her wings in an attempt to entice a male to breed with her. It was an interesting behaviour I had not observed before and one male did fulfill her wish in the cattail marsh northwest of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
