Bringing My Son To The Police Station To Be Fingerprinted (Poem By Shoshauna Shy) And The Hand (Poem By Mary Ruefle) Visual Communication (Feb 2007)

As part of a graphics (visual communication) project i received at college on image and text. Inspiration comes from poems and fables. This work was later staged along with my final major project work in 2008 at an exhibition at Sutton Coldfield Design Centre in Birmingham. I have experimented by doing collage and combining my textiles skills. Other techniques tried was using image maker to give an rough texture and feel. The photograph shows my brothers hand (Jack Underwood).
