falling drops

While waiting to be picked up by a car I had 10 minutes to kill. So I spent some time with this artwork featuring falling water from a kind of a roof. When viewed with the human eye one can not see the drops - just a steady stream of water.

This image is part of a new series of work where I look more in to the intrinsic beauty of everyday things. I believe a photographer does not have to go to some fancy place to make interesting images. It is about seeing beyond the quick glance at our world. It is about going beyond the first impressions and find something behind the obvious.

I like many things about this image (which is why I post it). The color palette speaks to me an connects to the wild nature even if this is a very much man made structure. I am also fascinated by the intriguing layers of compositional elements.

I thank you for your feedback but please no banners and invites. Thanks!
