2023 Annual Chapter Meeting

The Hawaii Pacific Chapter of the Medical Library Association (HPC-MLA) held its annual hybrid format Chapter Meeting on April 21 2023 at the University of Hawaii at Manoa's John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), Health Sciences Library.
Highlights included the annual MLA update by the MLA Past President, Kristin Alpi, RML Update by Associate Director, Cathy Burroughs with the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM) Region 5, a Continuing Education workshop on document accessibility with screen reader technology co-taught by NNLM staff, Liz Morris & Emily Hamstra; and finally, Genevieve Milliken from NYU Health Sciences Library shared the NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy with the group.
The Chapter's Annual Business Meeting followed and closed off the day's events.
