50th Chapter Anniversary Celebration

Chapter members and guests gathered on the Windward side of Oahu near the Koolau Mountains for brunch at Honey's Restaurant in celebration of the Chapter's 50th anniversary on December 14, 2019. A "talk story" session with very special guests, John Breinich (former Hawaii Medical Library Director), Virginia "Ginny" Tanji (former University of Hawaii at Manoa, John. A. Burns School of Medicine, Health Sciences Library Director) was held to share stories of the Chapter's early beginnings. Recently retired Library Director from the Queen's Medical Center, Hawaii Medical Library, was also honored.
