2017 Annual Chapter Meeting

The Hawaii Pacific Chapter of the Medical Library Association (HPC-MLA) held its Annual Chapter Meeting on March 29, 2017 at the University of Hawaii at Manoa's John A. Burns School of Medicine, Health Sciences Library.

Michelle Kraft, MLA Immediate Past President & Associate Director of Cleveland Clinic Library, offered a 2.5 hr CE workshop entitled, "The Evolving Librarian and New Technologies" and also presented the annual MLA Update.

Judy Consales, Director of NNLM PSR & Associate University Librarian for Sciences, Arts, and Music, Director, Louise M. Darling Biomedical Library, UCLA, provided the annual RML Update.

Kay Deeney, NN/LM PSR Education and Outreach Librarian, followed up with a 2 hour workshop on nursing resources called, "Nursing on the Net."

The Chapter's Annual Business Meeting capped the day's events and was immediately followed by a social dinner held at the Salt complex across the street at Moku Restaurant.
