2014 Annual Chapter Meeting

The Hawaii Pacific Chapter of the Medical Library Association (HPC-MLA) held its Annual Chapter Meeting on April 4, 2014 at the University of Hawaii at Manoa's John A. Burns School of Medicine, Health Sciences Library in gorgeous Kakaako.
The full day's events included a half-day workshop entitled, "Teaching with Technology," instructed by Kay Deeney, NN/LM PSR Educational Services Coordinator along with special guests from the NLM Training Center, Sharon Dennis, Assistant Director, and Jessi Van Der Volgen, Curriculum & Content Specialist. Another special guest, MLA Past President and Director of the Health Sciences Library of the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus, Jane Blumenthal, provided the group with the annual MLA update. NN/PSR Director, Judy Consales and Kay also shared the annual RML Update with all.
Following the close of the meeting, folks were invited to join the hosts for dinner at the Moroccan Lebanese restaurant, Kan Zaman.
