Last week, Fr. O’Brien announced that Pratima Dharm will be joining Georgetown's campus ministry as our first Hindu Chaplain! Chaplain Dharm is the first female chaplain of Indian descent and the first Hindu chaplain in the U.S. Army, serving persons of all faiths and backgrounds at Army bases and hospitals around the world. From leading humanitarian aid missions in Iraq to teaching mind body skills and yoga to veterans at Walter Reed, Chaplain Dharm will bring impressive experiences and unique perspectives to our community.
