This photo was taken at Panchavadi temple at Pondicherry. I had taken my tripod and it came real handy as taking this shot would have been impossible if I had tried it handheld. I was trying the shot with ‘Center weighted’ metering but I was getting too much of light and hence decided to shift to ‘Partial’ metering. I had used partial metering before in Besant Nagar beach and hence knew what to expect from the shot. I would have loved more light on the first tower but I think I got a photo that has given me a lot of satisfaction. Apart from cropping and slight increase in sharpness, I have not played with this photo for I loved the lighting effects that I got.
(Below is some information about the temple itself from www.godakshin.com)

It has a girth of 15 feet and after installation the actual height of the idol touches 40 feet. A 64-feet high Vimanam is built over the sanctum sanctorum.
