Real River Rocks

We’re applying grout to the walls first to avoid complications in this special shower, since the floor will have river rocks. This approach is only used in very special projects; usually, we install all the tile first and then apply the grout. However, in this case, it makes sense to do it this way because it saves us the extra cleaning that would be required if the stones got contaminated with grout. We also had to add extra slope to the Wedi pan because the factory slope is minimal, and the rustic nature of the stones requires a steeper angle for proper drainage
