Bubble Wrap
For the Daily Dog Challenge -- 6/29 "Starts With B"
For Our Daily Challenge -- 6/29 "Packaging"
For 365: The 2015 Edition -- 180/365
I think there are times that we'd all like to wrap our loved ones in bubble wrap, and this week would qualify for me. When Bunny was young, the fireworks didn't phase her, but the older she gets, the more they bother her. We've already had two days with unexpected sonic booms literally shaking the house, so Bunny has spent a fair amount of time wearing her Thundershirt. Last year, we had an unfortunate incident when we'd left our house about a week after the July Fourth holiday when someone set fireworks off right beside us that went off over her head. It took me about a month to convince her to go for walks with us again. I don't mind the little bottle rockets people want to set off over the weekend, but when it sounds like we're in the middle of a war zone, a week before the holiday hits, I get a little irritated. Our evening walks are on hiatus for the next couple of weeks, because it's just not worth the risk. Anyway, if I could wrap Miss Bunny up in bubble wrap and make sure she knows that everything will be okay for the next few weeks, I would definitely do it.
