Towering Tryfan.

A view from the stile at the top of Bwlch Tryfan. The wonderful pyramidal shape of Tryfan and the wall leading up to the Far South Peak before the summit grabbed my attention and had me reaching for the camera.

It was also an opportune moment for Clive Griffiths and I to take a rest after the steep climb up from Cwm Bochlwyd some 400 metres below, before taking on the steeper challenge of the East face of Glyder Fach.

We had a wonderful day out in blue sky weather only spoiled by a stiff cold wind on the tops.
