Brittania.
I couldn't resist posting this shot of "Brittania" steaming its way through Hoghton. It brings back so many memories for me of running down my parents back garden path to the hill above a railway line, where at 1pm most days a Brittania Class steam locomotive would rattle past on its way North to Carlisle. I heard that this train would be passing near where we now live, so I popped down and snapped it at the top of this climb from Lostock Hall up Hoghton bank as it headed to towards Blackburn.
