kind of cool - macro trick
I'm sure some of you already know about this trick but I just tried it out for the first time today:
I turned my 50mm lens around and used it to take a macro photo. So cool!!!
I read about this on the Coffeeshop blog: www.thecoffeeshopblog.com/2010/09/coffeeshop-tutorial-mic...
I understand the risks associated with this (dust, dropping the lens, etc) and its not something I see myself doing very often but I wanted to at least try it out.
It seems there is a very small window to get the focus just right. I took 15 shots and got only one that was usable. Again, not something I will be doing often but still pretty cool.
