Milkyway with Distagon 21mm March 2007

I enjoyed processing of this old frame. The milkyway and the zodiacal light crossed. Jupiter was bright there.

 

equipment: Zeiss Distagon 21mm F2.8 and Canon EOS 5D-AP, modified by IDAS on Kenko Skymemo-R

 

exposure: one shot 616 seconds at iso 1,600 and f/5.6 just before the beginning of twilight

 

site: 11,000 feet above sea level near Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii
