Nella mitologia greca Cassandra era una delle figlie di priamo ed Ecuba di Troia. Apollo si innamorò di lei e le diede il dono della profezia, ma quando lei rifiutò di ricambiare il suo nome il dono si trasformò in una maledizione: nessuno avrebbe mai creduto alle sue profezie.
In Greek mythology, Cassandra was the daughter of King Priam and Queen Hecuba of Troy. Her beauty caused Apollo to grant her the gift of prophecy. However, when she did not return his love, Apollo placed a curse on her so that no one would ever believe her predictions.
