Seastacks and the stars

Here is another milky way photo from a special night on the Oregon coast. Without clouds for a sunset, it was time to try for another late season milky way. The nearby lights of the homes and motels lit up the rocks pretty nicely for a longer exposure photo. This is a two image exposure blend. One shot was exposing the for the foreground and rocks, the other for the milky way sky. We were very lucky to still be able to see most of the milky way core before it set into the ocean at around 8:15pm.
