Artist: Claus Richter, 2021. The monument was officially unveiled on 10/15/2021. Afterwards, the CSD Düsseldorf events, which lasted several days, took place.

This place is dedicated to lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans* people who were victims of violence, persecution and discrimination in Düsseldorf.
And to all those who stood up for gender and sexual diversity in the past, present and future."

Dieser Ort ist den Lesben, Schwulen, Bisexuellen und trans* Menschen gewidmet, die Opfer von Gewalt, Verfolgung und Diskriminierung in Düsseldorf wurden.
Und all denen, die in Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft für geschlechtliche und sexuelle Vielfalt einstanden und einstehen."
