Panther Creek falls

I WAS going to stay home today, get things ready for work monday. I ended up here instead. North of Carson, this was a last minute decision as I-84 eastbound was closed from Troutdale through the gorge from ice. But as I passed the Bridge of the Gods from SR14 in Washington I saw they opened I-84 again.

 

Fresh snow and no tracks down the trail.. I was probably the only one there till I came back to my truck. Then another photographer approached me for directions to the trail just before sunset.
